A choke used specifically in Kohler engines (or other compatible engines) found in various types of outdoor power equipment, such as lawnmowers, generators, and other similar machinery. The choke plate closes a minimum of 45 degrees at a temperature of about 75 Fahrenheit (24 Celsius). The choke plate will close more at lower temperatures.
